Robert Knox (died May 24, 2008) was a British actor who was cast as Marcus Belby in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Tragically, only a few days after he filmed his part, 18-year-old Robert was stabbed to death outside of a pub in the London suburb of Sidcup.
He died defending his younger brother from an unnamed male attacker who was apparently provoked by allegations of a stolen mobile phone earlier.
Robert got his start in acting with a small role on the long-running British police drama The Bill.
